Can't fool a 6 year old
So today babysat 3 kids for a short while. Well, the 6 year asked for help combing her hair, as she wanted pigtails for picture day. Ok, two problems. #1: I don't know how to fix little girl's hair and #2 it actually mattered today b/c it was picture day. So I took a deep breath and thought ok, I'm a college grad, I can do this. Well, about 2 minutes into the process she says "Jen, you don't know how to do hair. Didn't your mom teach you?" I said no. The she said "Well, didn't you have a little sister?" I said no. "Why didn't you just pray for one?" Dang it. I'm a failure. I can't even make pigtails on a 6 year old.

And that is why I'm glad my child is a boy.
haha, I love it! Don't worry jen, or krissie, there is always hope...if you up for trying. You see they don't come out as 6 year olds. By the time the become darling smarty pants...you'll be a pro! I also love how it is so completely obvious that you should've just "prayed for one!" that is the best!
Yeah, duh Jen... why didn't you think of that before?
Great story. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't do little girls' hair. I can't do much to my own. It's a good thing I only have boys because my girls will be in trouble.
