So growing up in Ventura I pretty much know nothing about weather and how to deal with it. A couple of years ago when I was up in Idaho and Washington for 2 winters I learned that people "winterize" their car. The tire stores were packed with everyone putting on their snow tires. Well, now I'm beginning my second summer in Vegas and I have learned to "summerize" your car. We have hit the point of no return. It has been 108-110 every day this week and no longer cools off in the evening. So now I have to take everything out of my car that could possibly melt or warp: my deodorant, chap stick, racquetball racket, etc. It is so dry and hot that I have been told batteries need to be replaced every year, thats on my to do list for Monday. I have also learned that my appetite "summerizes" too and now my diet consists of pasta salad and Gatorade.

I love both the picture and your "summerized" diet!
