The surgery went ok. Its actually more involved and painful than I thought. I must have been their 1 millionth customer because I got a bonus. If you look at the x rays you can see a guiding pin that they use when they drill in the screws, well because I'm part terminator and ninja and my bones are so strong, they broke off the tip and they left it in there. I guess it happens every once and a while, but its not everyday that a terminator ninja crutches in. I also have this cooling device that circulates water and alcohol to help with the swelling. Yes, non drinking alcohol, I already checked. I have a splint that weights like 50 lbs for 10 days, then I go back in and they cast it. So me an my crutches will be friends for 2 months. Anyone up for an arm wrestling match? Not now, in 2 months. I have my nurse mommy with me til Thursday and its tempting to rip up her boarding pass and make her stay.

I'd totally be up for arm wrestling, but I'm pretty sure you'd beat me even if it was your arm that was broken.
