da Vinci da robot
This morning I got to watch a da Vinci assisted prostatectomy. It was pretty cool. The Dr. operates it from that module with the eye piece. The machine costs about $1.5 million and although it takes longer to do the procedure, it causes less trauma to the patient, and plus it looks cool.

My doctor was doing a da Vinci hysterectomy when I was in labor with Nora (and having my complications), and the nurses were freaking out... so I will forever curse that machine. But, it does look cool.
