So today on the way home from work I stop by a Mexican place around the corner to pick up a burrito for dinner. I have been there before but I don't go often. The following conversation occurs with a guy I have never seen before.
worker: So hows the dentist?!?
me (wearing scrubs): um, I'm not a dentist
worker: oh yeah, you are a vet!
me: nope, not a vet
worker: a doctor?
me: no, not a doctor. I'm a physician assistant.
worker: oh yeah, I KNEW you were SOME assistant to SOMETHING!!

sounds like a pretty good pick up line to me.
"hey, I'm assistant to something too! boy we have a lot in common!"
