The cat who could talk

Pictured above is a very much loved cat named Buddy (short for Budweiser). My brother Keith got Buddy when he was 4 years old. Buddy was abandoned in a dumpster and was found by a neighbor. Keith loved Buddy and Buddy loved Keith. Today, due to health problems Buddy had to be put down. Keith is just shy of his 23rd birthday which means that Buddy has been part of our family for nearly 19 years!! He sure will be missed. Buddy's favorite things were Keith, love and ham (his meow often sounded like the word "ham.") In his younger years Buddy was an amazing gopher hunter, way more effective than traps. I never thought I would grow so attached to a cat, but I guess that what a good cat and 19 years does.
