Banff report

Ok, as always Banff Film Festival lived up to my expectations. The films were amazing! I'm proud to report that I attended this year's Las Vegas festival with 6 Banff virgins and one veteran. Of course the quality of the films are motivation enough, but the icing on the cake is the raffle at intermission. In Santa Barbara we started experimenting each year by crumpling the paper in forms that would perfectly fit the human hand increasing our chances of winning. I have never won a Banff raffle but I have attended the festival with some winners allowing me to leave feeling a little bit of victory. My friend James won some hiking boots one year, and Jerry sports a Banff fleece that I hope he leaves for me in his will. Tonight not only did one of the Banff virgins win, but TWO! CJ walked away with a Deuter backpack and Ashlee is sporting a fancy pants MRS stove that can boil water in like 2seconds. Bless you Banff! May I live long and prosper so we may meet annually for many more years.
